FAQs

Therapy is a form of mental health treatment that helps individuals explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a safe and confidential environment. Therapy can help individuals gain insight into their problems, learn coping skills, and develop healthier ways of thinking and behaving.

The length of therapy varies depending on the individual and their unique needs. Some people may benefit from short-term therapy that lasts a few weeks or months, while others may require longer-term therapy that lasts several months or even years.

I offer a variety of therapy modalities, including person-centered therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness-based therapy. Each modality has its own unique approach and techniques, and I work with clients to determine which modality would be most effective for them.

I specialise in treating a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, weight loss, relationship issues, trauma, grief and loss, and life transitions.

Please see the fees section for up to date prices. Or contact me to discuss.

If you are experiencing emotional distress or have difficulty coping with daily life, therapy may be a helpful resource for you. You can schedule a consultation with me to discuss your concerns and determine if therapy is the right fit for your needs.

The frequency of therapy sessions depends on your individual needs and goals. Typically, clients attend weekly or bi-weekly sessions, but this can vary depending on the severity of the issues being addressed and the client’s availability.

In a therapy session, we will explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours related to the issues you are facing. I may ask you questions, offer insights and feedback, and provide you with tools and techniques to help you manage your symptoms and improve your quality of life.

You can get started with therapy by contacting me to schedule a consultation. During the consultation, we will discuss your concerns and goals and determine the best course of treatment for your needs.
